Final Paper

University undergraduate study programme in mathematics ends by passing all exams and writing a final paper which includes the study of existing literature in relation to the given topic and a systematised presentation of the work.

The topic of the final paper is to be approved within the scope of the curriculum of the university undergraduate study programme in mathematics, by the end of the teaching process in the last semester at the latest. Upon the proposal of the teacher, students are assigned final papers within the framework of professional or scientific projects performed at the Department. If a student prepares one or more papers that match the final paper according to its content and scope, then this can be acknowledged as the final paper. Student’s invention, technical improvements and similar can be acknowledged as the final paper if its content corresponds to the final paper content.

Regulations referring to final papers, rights and obligations of students, mentors, commissions and other related issues are stipulated in detail by the Rulebook on Final Papers, which was adopted by the Council of the Department of Mathematics.
