25/05/2017 The sixth international scientific colloquium Mathematics and Childern founded by Margita Pavleković (Teaching and Learning Mathematics) May 26-27, 2017 Faculty of Education The purpose of the 6th Scientific Colloquium MATHEMATICS AND CHILDREN is a scientific discussion about the position and role of a mathematics teacher in accordance with higher accessibility and implementation of new technologies in education within the boundaries of the academic community, the education system and the broader social environment, and with regard to more efficient preparation of children for their future accomplishments. The scientific colloquium encompasses (but is not limited to) the following topics: scientific research, teaching experience, mathematical education of teacher studies students, mathematics teachers as popularizers of science, mathematics teachers as initiators of progress and development within their communities, application of ICT in education.
