Workshop on Optimal Control of Dynamical Systems and applications

Workshop on Optimal Control of Dynamical Systems and applications will be held on 5 and 6 November 2020 at Department of Mathematics, J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek.

The goal of this workshop is to provide a coherent set of lectures that will adequately clarify the mathematical aspects of the (optimal) control of dynamical systems, with special emphasis on optimization and model reduction methods for large-scale systems.

Invited lecturers are Zlatko Drmač, Luka Grubišić, Ivica Nakić and Josip Tambača from Department of Mathematics, University of Zagreb, Tobias Breiten, Technische Universität Berlin, Institut für Mathematik, Germany, Serkan Gugercin, Virginia Tech, USA, Ren-Cang Li, University of Texas at Arlington, USA, Ivan Slapničar, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Split and Domagoj Tolić, RIT Croatia, Dubrovnik.

This workshop is organized within project Vibration Reduction in Mechanical Systems (VIMS) founded by Croatian Science Foundation.

The organizing committee members are Serkan Gugercin, Ivana Kuzmanović Ivičić, Suzana Miodragović, Marinela Pilj Vidaković, Zoran Tomljanović and Matea Ugrica.

Workshop is supported by Department of Mathematics , J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek and Croatian Science Foundation.
