TRAVEL INFORMATION
Croatia is a Central European and Mediterranean country, bordering Slovenia in the west, Hungary in the north, Serbia in the east and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the south. Croatia also has a long maritime border with Italy in the Adriatic Sea.

- How to get to Osijek:
- by air - fly to the Zagreb Airport (distance from Osijek: 287 km), then continue by train or by bus to Osijek
- by bus or train - there are direct or indirect bus and train services to Zagreb or Osijek from many European countries; once in Zagreb, use one of bus/coach or train services to Osijek
- Unfortunately, we must inform you that in Croatia in most cases it is not possible to buy train or bus tickets in advance. Furthermore, tickets at the central bus station in Zagreb can't be payed by debit or credit cards, they accept only cash in HRK. Foreign currency can be exchanged for HRK at the Zagreb Airport (exchange rate list of the Croatian National Bank).

Currency: Kuna (1 Kuna=100 Lipa). There are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 Lipa coins, 1, 2, 5 and 25 Kuna coins and 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1,000 Kuna banknotes. Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks, exchange offices, post offices, travel agencies and hotels - exchange rate list of the Croatian National Bank.
Travel documentation: Passport or some other internationally recognised identification document. Tourists may remain in Croatia for up to three months.

Electricity: 220-240V, 50Hz.
